26 year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Haley Dreis currently lives in Nashville, TN, where she teaches violin, tours internationally, records, and writes music for herself and others. She's inspired by artists like Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michelson, and Andrew Bird; and has played alongside Edwin McCain, Toby Lightman, Jay Clifford (of Jump Little Children), and others. Her most recent album, "Lady with a Rocket" (2012) was featured on iTunes' New and Noteworthy list and she has collectively fan-funded over $18,000 via Kickstarter to independently release her albums. Her hometown critics have highlighted her as "one of the scene's brightest voices" (Otis Taylor, The State newspaper) and her debut full-length album as "a perfectly realized and surprisingly mature pop gem...[and she is] as promising a pop talent as Columbia's ever seen" (Patric Wall, Columbia Free-Times). Dreis is a music performance graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts and the University of South Carolina Honors College.
