Music kind of really saved my life as cheesy as it sounds. I used to get bullied really bad when I was younger, and that led to me needing some surgeries on my face after getting beat. I remember my mother letting me buy a $50 walmart acoustic guitar because she wanted me to try and do something to get my mind off of bullies, surgery, and feeling depressed. When I picked up the guitar and just started trying to write songs and write my emotions out it gave me an outlet to be human and feel things in a healthy way. Since then its all I’ve ever wanted to do. So I write to capture that feeling of 11 year old me feeling whole and complete for the first time.
